The Heart of West Michigan United Way's street team, MI Superfriendz, took advantage of the Pure Michigan weather this afternoon by conducting a photo and film shoot atop the JW Marriott helipad to promote the group's upcoming Radio Flyer book drive for Schools of Hope. The Superfriendz had other reason to be jubilant as Business Review West Michigan just announced the nomination of the MI Superfriendz for its Innovation Michigan award for the group's creative use of social media to promote awareness for many of United Way's mission in West Michigan.

The Superfriendz would like to thank Jeff Barrett of United Way for organizing the shoot.
