Nessie, the 60-foot iconic symbol of the inaugural ArtPrize 2009 is back in the water in John Ball Park Zoo after undergoing cosmetic upgrades the past couple of weeks. With its more durable exterior finish, Nessie can now stand proud in her permanent exhibition in the zoo complete with her own viewing deck and signage telling the story of her creation. 

Congratulations to creators Rich App, Thomas Birks, Michael Knoll and the rest of the Nessie Project team for leaving a wonderful legacy in our city. The formal dedication is schedule for 4:30 PM this Friday, May 21.
